Dr Hall was a member of the Chair of Mathematics for Uncertainty Quantification from its foundation in 2018 until 2020 when he accepted a faculty position in Scotland. Dr Hall is presently a Baxter Fellow and Lecturer in Applied Mathematics in the School of Science and Engineering at the University of Dundee. His research focuses on mathematical aspects of predictive modelling, stochastic simulation, and uncertainty quantification, and he has received funding to support this work from UKRI / Heilbronn Institute for Mathematical Research. Since joining Dundee, Dr Hall has been named a Fellow of the Institute of Applied Mathematics and its Applications. His growing esteem is further recognised by his election to the General Committee (Trustee) of the Edinburgh Mathematical Society. Dr Hall teaches statistics, applied mathematics, and uncertainty quantification and is an Associate Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy.
